Mr. Ramos is a Partner at DMR Law. His practice focuses on entertainment law, business law, commercial litigation, and immigration. He is also the head of DMR’s Immigration Practice, which focuses on extraordinary ability and investor visa proceedings.

As an entertainment attorney, Mr. Ramos represents a diversified client roster that includes top recording artists, music producers and composers, actors, social media influencers, fashion designers, and music management companies. Mr. Ramos regularly advises clients on transactional and litigation matters as well as U.S. visa petitions for individuals of extraordinary ability (O-1, EB-1 & EB-2) and athletes/entertainment groups (P-1). He also provides counsel on copyright and trademark issues.

As part of his business law practice, Mr. Ramos has performed vital roles in the negotiating and drafting of contracts for commercial transactions -including mergers and acquisitions, stock purchase agreements, asset purchase agreements, lease agreements, and corporate dissolutions. He has also assisted multiple small and medium businesses in properly setting up according to applicable law by determining appropriate corporate structure, operating/shareholder/partnership agreements, contracts, employment law exposure, and policies, as well as intellectual property considerations. Within his immigration practice as a business attorney, Mr. Ramos assists individuals and corporate entities in E-2, EB-5, and L-1 visa proceedings.

In the litigation realm, Mr. Ramos has successfully represented clients in lawsuits and arbitrations involving management disputes within the entertainment industry, partnership disputes, breach of contract claims, breach of fiduciary duty, non-compete issues, and tortious interference with business relationships. He also has ample experience representing clients in criminal matters including charges for money laundering, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), and conspiracy to import narcotics to the United States. Mr. Ramos is fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
